WEB DEVELOPER
Media and Communications Team | Part Time
Seeking a talented PHP/LAMP and .NET web developer to build web sites. This individual will be working to add and maintain digital and social functionality to JamesMacDonald.com and related ministry websites. This is a flexible 20-hour position with potential to become full-time.
Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, PHP5/MySQL/.NET/SQL development experience, and be able to get up to speed quickly.
Position Summary
Creating and implementing a wide variety of web-based products using PHP, .NET, JavaScript, MySQL, SQL, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML5.
Job Specifications
1. PHP5 Developer with at least 5 years experience—candidate should be familiar with the latest features in PHP 5.2.X and 5.3.X.
.NET Developer with at least 5 years experience
2. MySQL and SQL experience—modern database development expertise; words like 'trigger' and 'view' should be part of your vocabulary.
3. Experience with client-side programming (Javascript, JQuery, CSS, HTML5)
Object Oriented Development / CS Background—ideal candidates should understand object-oriented development, and apply OO concepts to everything they do. Formal CS background or experience preferred.
4. Experience with templating engines (Smarty)
5. Self-Starter—looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction.

AUDIO ENGINEER/PROGRAM PRODUCER
Media and Communications Team | Full Time
Position Summary
Provide and/or coordinate all assigned aspects of audio production for Walk in the Word, including but not limited to: producing the daily radio program “Walk in the Word”; assuring that all audio is captured at broadcast quality; being the in-house audio quality specialist. This full-time position reports to the Executive Media Director.
Job Specifications
Study or Knowledge and Experience:
1. College degree or equivalent experience in broadcast communications
2. Minimum of three years of experience in radio and audio production
3. Artistic sensitivity to message and music
4. Working knowledge of Bible doctrine
5. Being adept in high-end digital editing platforms
