I was up in Canada at one of my favorite places in all the world: Muskoka Baptist Conference. About 200 acres on beautiful Mary Lake. It was a real thrill to connect with family and faithful friends and ministry supporters. We were recording a DVD series to be released later this year. It's based on my book from Moody Publishers called Lord, Change My Attitude. Suffice it to say I have had a lot of time to work on my own. The taping went well, the people were fantastic, and our friends at LifeWay who actually produce the video were professional and dedicated as always. While the process was exhausting--two sessions a day with about 2-3 hours of prep for each session--it was well worth the effort. We all sensed God working in our hearts and calling forth 'Promised Land' attitudes like thankfulness and contentment. It's sure a lot better way to live than in the dry parched wilderness of attitudes like complaining and doubt. I will be back Monday with a completion to my little blog series on the role of human persuasion in evangelism. Then keep in touch on a daily basis between now and the end of July for a blow-by-blow description of our BUS TOUR!!!!

Sounds like a fascinating series...I'm a Moses nerd, so anything remotely related to the Land of Milk and Honey piques my interest!

James, thank You from the bottom of my heart for the message Power Source. It is the exact situation i have been going through now. Just finding everyday more things Ive been doing wrong, and about a day before i heard the message, I just felt exhausted, almost like I wanted to just quit the whole Christian walk. And man, when I was hearing that message, it was just a fresh downpour to my soul. Thanks very much that God has used you to revive His tired son. thanks!

Pastor James, my family of four was thoroughly challenged in our time with you at MBC. Thanks so much. Our time at Muskoka and under your teaching the past few years has really refreshed and fed us, when we unfortunately weren't getting much else. We're already looking forward to digging into the studies from Acts. Keep on proclaiming the Word!
